Estimada Comunidad Escolar:
Por este medio y con gran emoción quisiéramos informarles que, luego de una ardua labor realizada por el Comité de Búsqueda, siguiendo un proceso de selección según los procedimientos recomendados internacionalmente, éste ha concluido su trabajo. La Junta Directiva y la Fundación Educativa han tomado la decisión de contratar al Doctor Mike Farr como nuestro siguiente Director General. Él, a su vez, ya aceptó el trabajo y está muy ansioso de venir a Guatemala y a nuestro colegio.
El Doctor Farr tiene amplia experiencia en Latinoamérica, habiendo trabajado casi veinte años en un colegio muy similar al nuestro en Colombia. Además, su preparación en el campo educativo, que él concluyó con un doctorado en administración escolar, constituye un elemento importante para el Colegio. Estamos seguros que éste estará en buenas manos durante los años que el Doctor Farr esté con nosotros. Además, él viene a nuestro país con su esposa, Darlene, quien también se unirá al colegio como profesora de inglés y con su hija, Mónica, quien ingresará a quinto bachillerato.
Quisiéramos también agradecer a todas las personas que de alguna manera lograron que este proceso de selección fuera un éxito ya que el Comité de Búsqueda empezó este proceso con personas comprometidas en buscar a la persona indicada para guiar al colegio en el momento actual. Creemos que lo han logrado y agradecemos sobremanera su dinamismo y entrega al compromiso adquirido.

Dear School Comunity:
We are honored to inform you that after a long and hard process, the Search Committee, following international guidelines for a General Director search, has finalized its work. The Board of Directors and Fundación Educativa have taken the decision to hire Doctor Mike Farr as our new General Director at Inter. He has already accepted the job offered and is very anxious to come to Guatemala and to our school.
Doctor Farr has ample experience in Latin America, having worked for almost twenty years in a school in Colombia which is very similar to our school. Our school also values his academic credentials, having a PhD in Educational Administration. We are sure that our school will be in very capable hands during Doctor Farr´s stay in our school. He will be coming to our country with his wife, Darlene, who is a very experienced teacher and will be joining our team, and his daughter, Monica, who´ll be a senior next year.
We would like to thank all the persons that were involved in the search process, you helped us ensure success in our search. The Search Committee started this journey with individuals who were committed to find the right person to guide our school in the future. We truly believe they have achieved this goal and are eternally thankfull for their active involvement and complete commitement to the search process.
